The six-part cartoon series, Dreamland, will see David Tennant, 38, voicing a cartoon Doctor as he visits notorious alien crash site Roswell.
The story, penned by Torchwood writer Phil Ford, will see the time traveller discovering a mysterious alien artefact at a US diner and attempting a rescue from the American military.
Joining him on his adventure will be assistant Cassie Rice, played by Georgia Moffett – David Tennant’s off-screen girlfriend. …
Dreamland will be premiered as six seven-minute episodes via the BBC Red Button and the Doctor Who website. It will then return as a single show on CBBC and BBC2 in the autumn.
